Monarch

After our really great rugby game we decided to take a walk down at Monarch beach. We really enjoy going there and it was nice and peaceful. As you can see Thandi has grown in leaps and bounds and she loves walking with us there!

Boo Blast

This was the school carnival! The booth is the one Becca's class did and we did the game Shuffleboard. Each class had to make the decorations and the sign. Everything is revolved around Halloween so everything was orange and black! There were load s of games and rides and food. Kaela enjoyed sitting and eating whilst Becca went rollercoasting! We had a fun morning there nad then raced off to watch the Springboks!

SeaWorld 2

Ok so we went to Seaworld again! We never get tired of doing that. My sister had the week off so we decdied for the Tuesday we would have a girls day out! We headed off fairly early and the traffic was fine for a while until we went the speed of 0!!! We could have seriously pushed the car faster! Anyway we eventually got there and went to Dolphin Discovery Show, Believe - Shamu, and then Pets Rule. We had a great day out and did things inbetween the shows like feeding the dolphins. We also did a birds eye view fo Sea World by going in a revolving tower. We headed back home earlish so as to avoid the 5pm traffic and had a really smooth drive home. WE had a great day just being the gals!

Sea World

Ok , Ok, I know I have not blogged for a while, I have tried a few times and it has not uploaded. It is very frustrating doing all this typing and then there is nothing!!! So 3 weeks ago we went to Seaworld with my sister Sharon. She had the week off and we decided to have a girl's day out and as she had never been before we though why not! Our journey there was a bit of a pain at one point we could have pushed our car faster than we were moving on the freeway. I have become a lot more confident in my driving as I have had to go many places! Eventually we got there and started our day! We went to 3 shows, Dolphin Discovery, Believe - Shamu and the Pets Rule. In between we did a few other things like feed the dolphins and look at the other tanks and displays. We also went in a revolving tower and got a birds eye view of SeaWorld. Anyway we had a great day and it fun having some quality girl time. We made sure we left before peak traffic and had a few hairy moments on the freeway but managed to get home after a great day!

Seaworld again

Well we went to Seaworld a week ago! My sister Sharon had the week off so we made plans for the trip on Tuesday! We headed off and hit some major traffic at one point where we could have pushed the car faster! Anyway as it is off season we had a reasonably good trip! WE had a great day taking her to the shows we had done before which was Dolphin Discovery, Shamu- Believe and then the Pets Rule! In between shows we had a chance to look at other things and even managed to feed the dolphins which was great fun! Thankfully they have really great handcleaner as the sardines stink!!! WE also managed to do the tower trip and get a birds eye view of Sea World. The animals are all totally dedicated to their trainers and putting their all into the performance. We avoided the soak zones with the dolphins and Shamu but got a sprinkling at Pets rule by a pig who turned the sprinkler on!! After a full day we headed home before hitting any major traffic and had enjoyed a grils day out!

What Garrod gals like to do!

Wow! It has been a long while since I updated here. Well honestly it has been very busy since school started again. 2 weekends back we went to our fav bunny /guineapig place as we had 2 friends visiting for the morning! The kids were in their element feeding and picking up as many bunnies and Gpigs as they could! We certainly had a great morning as the animals were very hungry.
